    1. What? what? (gasping like a red fish out of the bowl) I had no idea about that documentary, thank you!

I read a few years ago Ovid’s metamorphosis mainly for Pyramus and Thisbe’s myth, among others. I have an Enaudi edition with the Latin and Italian text. Such a pity I’m not able to understand the original, although I love how it sounds

Pyramus et Thisbe, iuvenun pulcherrimus alter,
altera, queas Oriens habuit, praelata puellis,
contiguas tenuere domos, ubi dicitur altam
      coctilibus muris cinxisse Semiramis urbem

My next Shakespeare read will be Troilus and Cressida. I can’t miss the mix between Shakespeare and Aechean heroes.

Regarding the “Merchant” I really long to see, among many other scenes, that scene with Lorenzo (Ben Lamb) and Jessica (Phoebe Pryce). Their dialogues are not as famous as those between Romeo and Juliet, but are as lyrical and romantic.

And then Lorenzo, talks about music…

The man that hath no music in himself,
Not is not moved with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils.
The motions of his spirit are dull as night,
And his affections dark as Erebus.
Let no such man be trusted
